Consul General Zha Liyou visits Friends in Kolkata

Consul General Zha Liyou and his wife Ms. Zheng Huiqun were invited to visit a local friend Mr. Swarup Dutta and his family in Kolkata on August 21.

Mr. Dutta warmly welcomed Consul General Zha Liyou and showed Chinese stamps in various historical stages he had collected over the years. He also presented a book "Quotations from Mao Zedong" to express his deep attachment to China and high expectations for China-India friendship. Mr. Dutta is an engineer and has lived in China for many years.

Ms. Zheng Huiqun sang the famous Tagore song "I Know You, Foreign Girl" with Mr. Dutta's mother Ms. Keya Duttathe, a famous Bengali singer. Everyone enjoyed special home-made tea and snacks, and cheerfully chatted with each other.
