Consul General Zha Liyou Visits IIM Bodh Gaya

On September 15, Consul General Zha Liyou visited the Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya and met with the Director Ms. Vinita S. Sahay. MBA Chairperson Sabyasachi Mohapatra, International Relations Chairperson Medha Srivastava, Replacement Chairperson Baljeet Singh, and Visva Bharati Vice Chancellor Bidyut Chakrabarty were present.

The Consul General said that IIM is the cradle of Indian and even world-renowned management talents, and the Chinese Consulate General is looking forward to strengthening communication with IIM Bodh Gaya to jointly promote exchanges and cooperation between China and India especially Bodh Gaya.

Prof. Sahay introduced on the teaching and management of the institute and its exchanges with China, and expressed her willingness to maintain close contact with the Chinese Consulate and further deepen the institute's educational exchanges with Chinese universities.

The Consul General also met with teachers and students of the institute and delivered a speech, introducing on current Sino-Indian relations and the consular regions' exchanges with China and encouraging them to actively contribute to the friendly exchanges between the two countries.

The Consul General's wife Zheng Huiqun, Consul Chen Shumi, Consul Zhao Yuqing, and Consul Xie Chao attended the above events.
