Consul General Luo Linquan Meets with President of San Francisco Art Institute
On March 12th, 2018, Consul General Luo Linquan met with President Gordon Knox of San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI). Deputy Consul General Zha Liyou, Counselor of Education Yang Jun, SFAI Vice President and Dean of Academic Affairs Jennifer Rissler and SFAI's Special Assistant to the President Min Ren attended the meeting.
Consul General Luo highly praised the efforts SFAI had made to promote China-US People-to-People exchange, the agreements SFAI had signed during President Gordon Knox's recent visit to China with China's top art institutes such as China Academy of Art, the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Luxun Academy of Fine Arts and Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts and SFAI's wish to participate in the China-US Social and Cultural Dialogue Action Plans. Consul General also expressed gratitude to SFAI for taking care of Chinese students on campus.

President Gordon Knox expressed that as the earliest American art institute to set up academic exchange programs with China, SFAI would like to actively participate in China-US People-to-People exchange and to promote academic relations with Chinese art institutes, so as to make contributions to friendship and mutual understanding between peoples of the two countries and development of the bilateral relations.
Both parties also exchanged views on topics of China-US education exchange.
