Vice Foreign Minister Cui Tiankai Chairs the Fifth China-Australia Consultation on Issues Related to Pacific Island Countries

On August 9, 2010, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Cui Tiankai held the fifth China-Australia consultation on issues related to Pacific island countries together with Ric Wells, Deputy Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) of Australia in Canberra, capital of Australia. Cui also met respectively with Secretary Dennis Richardson and Deputy Secretary Bruce Gosper of the DFAT as well as Gordon de Brouwer, Australian coordinator of G20 summit affairs & Deputy Secretary of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. Both sides exchanged views on China-Australia relations, G20 affairs, Pacific island countries and other issues.
