President Xi Jinping Returns to Beijing after Concluding Visits to Indonesia, Malaysia and Attending the 21st APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting

On the evening of 8 October 2013, President Xi Jinping returned to Beijing by special plane after concluding state visits to Indonesia, Malaysia and attending the 21st APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting.

Other delegation members including Mme. Peng Liyuan, wife of President Xi Jinping, Wang Huning, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and director of the Policy Research Office of the CPC Central Committee, Li Zhanshu, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, and State Councilor Yang Jiechi arrived by the same plane.

On the afternoon of the same day, Xi Jinping left Bali Island, Indonesia for home. Mari Elka Pangestu, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia, and other senior officials bid farewell at the airport.
