On March 1, 2023, at the invitation of Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman, Vice Chancellor of University of Dhaka, H.E. Ambassador Yao Wen visited University of Dhaka(UD). Mr.Yue Liwen, Cultural Counselor of Embassy of China in Bangladesh, and Director of Confucius Institute of UD accompanied the visit.

The two sides had an in-depth discussion on the education exchanges and communication between two countries and training on the Chinese students major in Bengali Language in the university.

H.E. Ambassador Yao Wen also paid a visit to Confucius Institute,and had a workshop with scholars and experts of China Studies leading by Professor Imtiaz Ahmed at the Centre for Genocide Studies.
