On April 2, 2024, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences of the Foreign Ministry Shen Bo held working exchanges with visiting Director General of the International Organization Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Laos Daovy VONGXAY. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on strengthening cooperation between China and Laos in the United Nations and other multilateral organizations as well as safeguarding the common interests of the two countries and fellow developing countries, among others, and reached a series of common understandings.
